I love carving cottonwood bark!

Cottonwood bark is a fun wood to carve. Gnome homes are a popular use of this wood. Cottonwood bark often is found in thicknesses of 2" to 4". The thicker the piece of bark the more expensive that the bark is to purchase. Often 4" bark is only found on very old trees. I only use cottonwood harvested from dead trees. I hope you enjoy looking at these fun carvings.
